ATX Brunch Wedding with disco dessert big REHEARSAL dinner at shiraz garden
Have you always wanted a Brunch Wedding but also don’t want to miss out on an evening reception and dancing?
Andie and James planned their wedding weekend to include their Sunday morning ceremony and brunch on the wedding day all previewed, the evening before, with a welcome reception with all their guests.
FAVORITE VENDORS TO CREATE THE DREAM WEDDING WEEKEND
To pull off this unique wedding weekend in Austin, they trusted one of Shiraz Garden’s favorite ATX wedding planners — Events By Leslie. On top of that wonderful decision, they also choose Lane Parker Weddings to capture the day. Lane has been a recommended vendor working with our venue director Kalli for over five years. The talent and creativity he brings to every wedding never disappoint.
SATURDAY - REHEARSAL DINNER RECEPTION
They used Saturday from 10 am - 11 pm to decorate, unload, rehearse their ceremony and then have their wedding reception with dinner and dancing on what would traditionally be "Rehearsal” night. These days the night before the wedding it is popular to see a “welcome party” for all the guests to come together after the rehearsal dinner. Rehearsal dinner is usually for a smaller group of just family and wedding parties.
Andie and James essentially wanted the welcome party to emulate a reception so they could have those memories but preserve their dream of a morning ceremony and brunch to follow.
SUNDAY - BRUNCH WEDDING
Sunday from 9 am - 3 pm, the couple arrived, got ready at Shiraz Garden’s bridal and groom’s cabins, and then had their dream 10:45 am ceremony followed by a delicious brunch.
Their unique use of Shiraz and their days was a first, but we loved it! Our team is always open to creating custom wedding weekend uses of Shiraz Garden and our many spaces. You can find our standard packages here, but don’t hesitate to ask about expanding those options to give you the perfect wedding weekend.
CEREMONY - BRUNCH CEREMONY AT SHIRAZ GARDEN’S SUNSET VISTA
Take in this beautiful ceremony in the morning before their brunch and fun morning celebration with friends. We mixed in their wedding details because they were so personal and dreamy, especially Andie’s wedding dress which her mom hand-made for her. Yes. This gorgeous wedding dress was hand-made by the bride’s mom, and it was a show stopper of a garden wedding dress.
