February Hill Country Wedding - Outdoor Ceremony with Purples Florals
FEBRUARY WEDDING BLISS TEXAS HILL COUNTRY
Ashley and Brandon’s wedding was so heartfelt - every guest and every vendor was touched over and over by their love for one another. It was a special day we will always cherish!
The perfectly crisp, golden, not hot, not cold days are most often a blessing to Texans during the last two weeks of February.
Shiraz Garden closes in January and the first two weeks of February to prep our gardens. But we are open the last two weeks of February, and often these two weeks are some of the best of the year!
BOOKING SIGHT UNSEEN!
Ashely and Brandon could not come to Shiraz for a tour while searching for the perfect Hill Country Venue, so we did a video tour, and they were sold! Our website is designed for out-of-state or out-of-town couples unable to make a time happen in person. The website gives couples as much information as possible, with no hidden fees or information here! These two fell into that category, and with the website galleries, their video tour, and excellent communication with our venue manager, they secured their date!
FEBRUARY WEDDINGS, WHY WE LOVE THEM
February is not often considered a peak wedding season month in the Texas Hill Country, but we do not agree with that here at Shiraz Garden. February is a tricky wedding month for Texas as you can still get very cold days, but generally, the best days of the entire year almost always happen in February! It’s true. We love February for a lot of reasons:
First, it is a lower-demand month, which gives our couples more flexibility to book the very best wedding vendors without as much competition. Other months can have primary and favored vendors booked up years in advance, while February can give couples more flexibility and time to choose those vendors.
Second, February is a stunning month because the landscape looks very dramatic with cool tones rather than the more vibrant green monochrome of spring. Winter weddings contrast the dark, moody tones of the bark and the depth and shadow of trees with the pops of green of the cedar-lined hills in the background from our vista points.
CEREMONY - OUTDOOR CATHEDRAL
This couple chose to get married at the covered outdoor space — the Outdoor Cathedral. This space is gorgeous and has a dramatic line as it's a long linear space with a beautiful cedar ceiling that gives the photos from the ceremony space a dramatic and one-of-a-kind vibe.
This couple was very special to us, and it's obvious from all of their photos how happy they were and why it was an honor for us to be their wedding venue. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Texas Hill Country with both indoor and outdoor spaces, we would love to be considered. We have great availability in February, so please contact us today to schedule a tour!

Personal Note the Day After the wedding….
Thank y’all for the most gorgeous wedding. The guests were gushing over the whole thing and they seemed to really enjoy themselves. It was incredible. The staff and the grounds were amazing and I cannot overstate how wonderful Brittani was! We fell in love with it the 1st time we saw it over *video call*! It has such charm and the people working there make it even better. Thank you for making this such a special experience! Kalli, your wealth of knowledge is out of this world, you rock!
The first two Shiraz staff that helped me on my wedding day were amazing! Emma and Kayla. Those two were above and beyond, for sure. They were so knowledgeable and helpful. One of them, was even entertaining my kiddo during the first look. Somehow they also kept track of my son’s switch that he left in the golf cart and my clutch. They also were good liaisons between me and Brittani (In-House Coordination) while she was in and out of the bridal cottage. And Brittani, she is fabulous. So chill and easy to work with. She directed the set up of the decor seamlessly and didn’t have a lot of time to get it done. She headed up issues before they came up and totally took the stress off of me (which isn’t easy, lol). I loved working with the whole team including you!
WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR GUESTS TO REMEMBER
The way they felt. The love that we have for one another.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SHIRAZ GARDEN?

COUPLES LOVE STORY
Brandon saw Ashley at a mutual friend’s daughter’s first birthday. The mutual friends were a couple, and Brandon asked his friend about her to one of them the following week, Ashley talked to her friend about him as well (Ashley heard that he was single and remembered his huge smile). We started talking over text and phone and had our first date the day after Christmas 2017. We saw each other again a few days later and had our next official date a few weeks later. During the big freeze that January, Ashley invited Brandon to come to her house, and Brandon met Ashley’s son, who was two and a half at the time. They hit it off and became buddies immediately. We officially became a couple on February 24th, 2018. We moved in together towards the end of 2019, and our connection has only gotten stronger since!
